KDUSO is committed to:
- Preserving and promoting the culture, language and traditions of the Krios/Creoles and descendants in the diaspora, resident in Southern Ontario.
- fostering good relationships between members and persons interested in the bonds of friendship and mutual understanding
- organizing social, cultural and educational events in the promotion of Sierra Leone culture in general and people of Krio descent living in the diaspora, in particular.
